Beginning May 2026, a $250 stipend per week will be offered to participants to learn critical lab and diagnostic skills needed to obtain employment in a biotech company, healthcare lab, or research lab.

A new WIOA Impact Report shows Montgomery County’s public workforce system helped generate nearly $145M in annual earnings, with more than 2,700 residents gaining employment and earning an average of $56,790 a year through our American Job Centers.
